Learn how to get the most out of DualLenz's powerful translation features
Dual View Translation
The dual view translation feature enables seamless switching between original and translated paragraphs while preserving context. Upon chapter opening, the entire chapter is automatically translated to ensure contextual accuracy and translation precision. Each paragraph features a toggle button on the left side, allowing you to instantly switch between the original and translated versions.
Desktop Experience
On desktop platforms, utilize the paragraph-level toggle buttons positioned on the left side of each paragraph. Click any toggle to instantly switch that specific paragraph between its original and translated version, maintaining reading flow while accessing translation support when needed.
Mobile Experience
On mobile devices, translation switching is optimized for touch interaction. Swipe right-to-left on any paragraph to reveal its translated version, and swipe left-to-right to return to the original text. This intuitive gesture-based approach ensures seamless navigation on smaller screens.
Sentence Analysis
Our advanced sentence analysis system provides comprehensive linguistic insights for complex sentences containing unknown vocabulary, intricate grammar structures, or cultural references. Two distinct analysis methods cater to different learning preferences and situations.
Translation Panel Analysis
Click on any sentence to open the Translation Panel, then select the Analyze button to initiate comprehensive analysis. This process creates precise phrase-to-phrase mappings between original and translated text, enabling rapid sentence comprehension. The analysis also identifies and explains idioms, cultural references, and grammar points for complete linguistic understanding.
Quick Word Analysis
Double-click any word to instantly select the containing phrase and activate automatic mapping. This streamlined approach immediately highlights the relevant phrase while displaying its corresponding translation, providing efficient vocabulary comprehension without interrupting reading flow.
EPUB Mapping
Create parallel reading experiences by mapping original and translated EPUB documents for precise sentence-to-sentence alignment. This feature enables side-by-side comparison of your trusted translations with the original text, perfect for language learning and literary analysis.
Upload Documents
On the upload page, choose the original EPUB and the translated EPUB. Both documents should contain the same content in different languages for optimal mapping results.
Chapter Alignment
For each chapter in the original EPUB, you must select the corresponding chapter in the translated EPUB. This ensures accurate content alignment across both versions.
Sentence Mapping
After a moment of mapping processing, you can select any sentence in the original EPUB and the corresponding sentence will be automatically highlighted and brought into view in the translated version, creating a seamless parallel reading experience.
