By downloading, installing, or using the DualLenz application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Service Description

DualLenz is a web application that enables users to read and translate documents using AI technology. The App operates entirely on the user's local device and does not transmit, collect, or store any user content or personal data.

3. Local Use and Data Privacy

All data processed by the App remains on the user's device. No documents, texts, translations, or personal information are transmitted to DualLenz servers or any third parties. You retain full control and ownership of the data processed within the App. We do not collect, store, or analyze any personal data, usage data, or documents. There are no tracking cookies, analytics tools, or background data transmissions in the App.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful or harmful purposes, including but not limited to:

• Uploading or processing unlawful content.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or decompile the App.
• Circumventing or violating security or usage limitations.
• Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing login credentials is prohibited.

You are solely responsible for the content you translate and any consequences arising from its use.

5. AI Disclaimer

The App uses artificial intelligence to perform translations. As such, translations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually incorrect. You should not rely on the App for legal, medical, or critical communications. We disclaim all responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of translations provided by the App.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

DualLenz may offer subscription-based access to certain features or usage levels. Subscriptions are:

• Billed in advance.
• Auto-renewed unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused time.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, but cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no prorated refunds will be given.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, interface, and AI technology, are owned by TON THAT CONSULTING. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TON THAT CONSULTING shall not be liable for:

• Any loss or damage resulting from the use of or reliance on the App.
• Any inaccuracies in AI-generated translations.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

9. Modifications to the App or Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the App.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in France.
